Farseeing
Once: consume a male sparrowhawk's eyeballs. 3/day: Imprison a daemon in an orb of glass or quartz and grasp the orb. At will: gouge out an eye and replace with a sapphire jewel that was anointed on the highest mountain peak in the world. Ignore the last 3 words of the first sentence: Replace both eyes.
The mage scries a vision at a point they can see. She becomes blind where she is but sees as if her body translates to that position. The spell lasts as long as desired. The following caveats apply:
Visual acuity is only as good as the mage's memory of her translated position. Vaguely or falsely remembered details appear blurry. Thus, when scrying a busy crossroads, the mage will see processions of indistinct travelers. However, she will easily spot a familiar face if he happens to walk by. A mage learned in letters will see each glyph on a road sign clearly, and so on.
Farseeing may be cast multiple times simultaneously, but memory must split its service to each vision. The mage freely divides her mind, and that is the chance a detail will be missed instead of recognized.
Needless to say, farseeing may be cast from within a scried a vision. Any loss of visual acuity is compounded in the new vision. First, individual blurs join into one mass. Then, the horizon ceases to divide sky and earth.
